Week 2 Physics
Reflections on uncertainty.
I read the "Zen and the Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance". It gave me reason to contemplate my navel. The book was a moment of "quality" that is experienced before an experience that can not be measure. This present the same paradigm as the uncertainty principle. It base on the same thing consciousness exist by evaluating or comparing two different things. Yin and Yang. Heaven and Hell.

On one hand this matter is old on the other it is new, as consciousness is always is evolving based on what is being compared.

The world believed the earth was flat until Copernicus observed through a crude telescope the earth was round and not center of the universe. Earth shattering. All proved by scientific method that could him burn at the stake of witchcraft by the church. He was not burned by the church, but he did go blind from watching the sun to much with his crude telescope. Was going blind secondary to looking at the mysteries in space. Well now not only do we have sun glass, but telescopes which produce and images of what we are looking for in space on computers. It is no longer the naked.

The conundrum; nothing is truly subjective or object one needs the other to nurture the next step in growth of consciousness. What is interesting to me is monks meditating has come to see the the universe in analogy much the same a physicists. However, applied physics landed mankind on the moon. It is a fascinating adventure as earth is changing rapidly as living organism and space is the next frontier.

Comments on causality.

Causality is a funny investigation of believing what is happening until proven other wise. In theory I claim the egg had to come before the chicken.
Historically causality gives rise to one believes until more information is available to discern otherwise.

Is the Universe Weird.
I find it a wonderful mystery. Mankind history and life has been continuously enrich in the discovery all it's unknown mysteries. The potential of more discovering more about universe is has been the creative juice behind all of mankind's endeavors.

Week 1 Physics
My Biography and response to week one questions

As I have observe my bio own more frequently in recent past, my view of it has become more refined. I will reference this in regard to the physics and time.
In memory I have a web of consciousness with my family. Even those who have past and I never meet. These member of my family live through the stories told about them and seeing how these still live in time within myself and my family. I can see how this heritage lives throughout my family and differently in individuals of my family. And the consciousness of this web continues to grow with the duality of life and death supported by the love which covenants the family web.

My family is my conscious microcosm of time and the world is my macrocosm. My life life is story of all the elements of this web bringing me to Chinese medicine.

Martial Arts studies introduced me to a culture and language different than all previously known to family history. I have no conscious memory of parallel time but I do recall dreams within a dream viewing events in a different dimensions of time. This arrived during a intense time of martial arts study. I do believe my spirit could have held physical form in the past beyond the idea of a linear line; my life has many connections of synchronicity with Pacific and Asian culture. Martial arts introduce me to the somatic consciousness of mind, body and spirit. And that time is really simply about "the potential" of energy. A submersion of study in the Hawaiian healing art involved the study and embracing of how one's spirit come to be. It is about understanding one's essence, the potential of their being and where it arrive from. This is different than religious or beliefs found in dogma.

What attracts me to Chinese Medicine.
I find all cultures of medicine have something to offer and to be considered. An injury from a car wreck my first choice would be modern western medicine. This is part of time web but only honors this moment of health. My interest in Chinese Medicine is about how it observes the individual and community in different patterns of across time honoring life and health as synergistic whole.

What do I honestly think of Physics.
Physics is Western Cultures attempt to describe and predict the world around us. As our consciousness evolves so do the concepts of physics and pure mathematics. Simply many valid equations in pure mathematics exited for years and after time they became applied to an observed and tangible event. Simply as one philosopher said pure mathematics and physics reflect the capacity of the human mind. So as the consciousness of the human mind evolves so does the paradigm of physics and what we are conscious of.

From my observation the world around us has been accurately describe by many methods culturally in spiritual, meditation practices and individual experience. They are analogous to science but are describe from a point of experience rather than a quantitative equation.

Does Time Speed up or Slow Down.
Times speed is relative to the individual who is experiencing this idea, this phenomenon is also bound to what the person believes and and what they perceive the potential of time is. I can only imagine how a person who has died experience time. Let alone an Alien
